About The Blog
RISE UC was started in 2017 as the first Student Chapter of RISE. Since then, RISE UC has worked with partner centers to successfully support acid violence survivors around the world with partnership projects. RISE UC has innovated new fundraising and awareness initiatives to further our mission of supporting acid violence survivors and activists.

RISE UC Blog was created in Summer 2021 to keep members, donors and supporters of RISE UC updated on our impact and outreach.

Hi! My name is Anna, and I have been Co-President of RISE UC since April 2021. I was previously RISE UC's Director of Fundraising. I'm entering my third year at the University of Cincinnati studying Medical Sciences and Spanish.
