Welcome to RISE University of Cincinnati Blog

Our Mission

RISE is a U.S. based nonprofit organization working to end acid violence internationally. Our on-campus organization will work in conjunction with the nonprofit to support acid attack survivors around the world. The goal of the organization will be to support victims of acid violence in conjunction with RISE and allow students to work with the nonprofit organization along with international partner organizations. This will be accomplished by raising awareness of the atrocities involving acid, raising funds to support the survivors of acid violence who are unable to support themselves, and developing projects, using the student power on campus, that will create sustainable change in the lives of acid survivors.
